
Student Nurse Tech – Intermediate Care – Part-Time Days or Nights

Candidates should have basic patient care experience, including taking vital signs, assisting with activities of daily living, and providing bedside support. This role offers a consistent schedule and a pathway to transition into a nursing career after graduation.

- Shift Options: (2) 12-hour shifts | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Minimum Requirement
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program

Overview
Since 1937, Alton Memorial Hospital has cared for residents in Alton, Illinois, and the surrounding communities in a five-county area. Starting as a land gift to the community from the Smith family, Alton Memorial today is a full-service acute care hospital. Alton Memorial offers patients a variety of inpatient and outpatient services, including surgery services, medical imaging, interventional and diagnostic heart services, cancer care, rehabilitation, 24-hour emergency care, ambulance services and more.
The telemetry unit is a 32 bed unit, with all private rooms. Patients are under continuous cardiac monitoring with clinical conditions that need closer observation and care.

Provides multi-skilled, direct patient care, under the direction and supervision of a registered professional nurse. This job requires completion of a foundational nursing skills course or equivalent (fundamentals, foundations, or adult/peds health.
