Fully prepared to present a patient care case in court 3. Conducts Mental health evaluations on all medical floors/ emergency care cent as needed, and provides appropriate care interventions 4. Position Qualifications: License/Certification/Education: Required: 1. Graduation from an accredited graduate program in psychiatric nursing 2. Massachusetts censure as an advanced practice nurse 3. Board certified as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Association and recognized to practice in an expanded role by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing Experience/Skills: Required: 1. Minimum of three years advanced clinical practice in psychiatric nursing. Unless certification, licensure or registration is required, an equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed in this description may be substituted for the above requirements. Department-specific competencies and their measurements will be developed and maintained in the individual departments. The competencies will be maintained and attached to the departmental job description. Responsible managers will review competencies with position incumbents. III.
