HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT Your Role: Responsible for directly supervising and managing RN/Assistant Nurse Managers in the inpatient units and on the behavioral emergency servicesteam. Oversees RN/Assistant Nurse Managers regarding staff training,staffing schedules, the hiring/termination process, patient flow, performance monitoring, and adherence with Behavioral Health Center (BHC) policies and procedures, The Joint Commission (TJC) standards, and State of Florida licensure standards. Monitors nursing-related program performance metrics. Acts as a delegate in the Dir/Inpatient Services’ absence. Oversees nursing students in the inpatient units. Represents the BHC at hospital-wide nursing meetings (as directed). Promotes a consistent and consolidated direction in providing nursing care in accordance withnursing practice philosophy and ethical guidelines.
