HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT Job Summary: In this role you will assist in providing nursing care to the practice patients; help maintain the functions of a medical group practice; provide direct patient care by doing lab work and venipuncture; readying patients for exams; assisting providers with exams and procedures, and administering injections and treatments as orders. Coordinates patient calls/walk-ins in emergent situations. Assists in other functions of the medical group practice as needed. This position is responsible for assisting with direct patient care and clerical duties that are an essential function in the coordination of optimal patient care, including, but not limited to scheduling patients, patient hygiene/toileting, mobility assistance, interdepartmental transportation, vital signs, charting, ordering supplies, cleaning and stocking patient areas, chart audits and interaction with all areas of the department .
