ChristianaCare Health System is currently seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife to work full-time inpatient in a Day/Evening/Night position on the Newark Campus. 

The Certified Nurse Midwife will provide care to low risk women seeking obstetrical care primarily on labor and delivery as well as a supporting role in OBGYN Triage.  You will be responsible for the management of the low-risk woman and fetus with consultation/collaborative care as appropriate. This position works closely with our OB/GYN physicians and ancillary staff in the hospital and OBGYN Triage.  ChristianaCare provides a range of medical services for women at all stages of life, focusing on both physical and emotional wellbeing of our patients.

The Certified Nurse Midwife will provide care to adolescent and adult women seeking OB/GYN services within the scope of their education, training and credentialing, evaluate, diagnose and treat obstetrical and GYN patients. The provider will perform deliveries, assist physicians/training physicians with deliveries and managing the care of women during labor and delivery within established protocols, guidelines, and procedures.

Requirements:  Graduate of an approved school of nursing and maintenance of state licensure as a Registered Nurse.  At least two years of experience working as a Certified Nurse Midwife.  Completion of a Certified Nurse Midwife degree (CNM).  National certification by either of the following certifying agencies: The American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) or The American College of Certified Nurse Midwives.  State Licensure as a CNM.

Annual Compensation Range $121,980.00 - $151,988.00

This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting.
