1+ years of experience eligible for $4,000 (full time)
Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full orPart timeCNA position. Bonus amount prorated forPart timehires,per diem hires are ineligible.
CurrentMaine Healthmember employees are ineligible; former MaineHealthMembersare ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.
Summary
MaineHealth Home Health & Hospice provides a full range of high-quality, home-based health services. We care for patients of all ages in York, Cumberland, Southern Oxford, Knox, Waldo, Lincoln and Sagadahoc counties in Maine. We are part of the MaineHealth integrated health system.
Under supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Hospice/Home Care Aide role performs in-home care tasks required to help maintain and restore the physical, social, and emotional health of patients.

- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- License/Certifications: Current applicable state license as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Valid Driver’s license with vehicle available for work covered by liability insurance as specified by agency policy required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
- Experience: One year of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide preferred.
