Certified Nursing Assistant CNA (Caregiver Role)

What you’ll do: 

  • Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting

  • Monitor and record vital signs (BP, pulse, temperature, respiration)

  • Support mobility, transfers, and fall prevention.

  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding.

  • Perform light housekeeping tasks.

  • Provide companionship and emotional support.

  • Observe and report any changes in the client's condition to the care team.

  • Follow individualized care plans and agency standards.

Qualifications: 

  • Valid CNA Certifications

  • Current CPR certification (required)

  • Minimum 1 year of caregiving experience (in-home care preferred)

  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.

  • Level 2 Background screening with current fingerprinting.

  • Recent TB Test Results. 

  • Compassionate, reliable, and professional demeanor.

  • Must have strong communication skills.

The schedule rotates from week to week to accomodate every other weekend. Week one only work Thursday night 7pm- 7am. Week 2 work Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri, Sat Sun 7pm-7am and back to week 1 next week. Pay period runs from Wed- Tues so will have one check for 36 hrs next check 48 hours weekly pay. NO SLEEPING IS PERMITTED. Currently 4 patient group home with Nurse at all times. Bay Area Direct Client Care has 4 has immediate opening for an experienced home health aide/CNA in our medical group home. Ideal candidate will have experience working with multiple patients who are medically complex. 1st position is fulltime days 7am-7pm days needed rotate from week to week ex: ( Fri, Sat, Sun then Wed. (the next week is Mon, Tues) ( pay cycle runs Wed-Tue and paid out every Friday). Note training is paid at training rate of $15/hr. Once solo shift is initiated will start regular pay rate that is tiered between ($17-21/hr). 2nd Position is part time 9am-7pm as second aide, every Thursday Pay rate$20/ hr Note training is paid at training rate of $15/hr.
