Be the Best Clinical Manager You Can Be

Graduate from an approved school of professional nursing and currently licensed to practice as a registered nurse in the state of agency operation.
3-5 years experience as a RN.
Experience managing RN services in the home, community, or clinic is preferred

Required Certifications and Licensures:

Licensed to practice as a registered nurse in the state of agency operation.
Must possess and maintain valid CPR certification while employed in a clinical role.
Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or organization requirements and is in good working order. Ability to travel to all business locations.

Overview: At Piedmont Eastside's NICU we take pride in making a positive impact in the lives of our tiniest patients and their families! Our level 3 NICU hosts 18 beds with low nurse to patient ratios. Our NICU provides expert, 24-hour care to premature and sick babies with the guidance of Neonatologists, Neonatal Nurse Practitioners, and NICU nurses. Responsibilities: Coordinates the delivery of quality nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle, as well as operational issues during his/her shift. Overview: We are a 13-bed unit with 4 overflow antepartum rooms, 2 OR suites and a new 4 bed OB-ED. We have 24/7 coverage by a Hospitalist, along with a great group of physicians. Any laboring mom or preterm mom greater than 20 weeks may be seen on this unit; along with postpartum moms needing to be readmitted. Our goal is to adhere to the AWHONN standards. We closely monitor staffing to patient census which means-1:2 laboring patients, 1:1 active labor or C-section, 1:3 antepartum patients and 1:4 triage/OB-ED. We provide patient centered care as the entire health care team work together to care for mother and baby.
