As a RN Staff Nurse you are the backbone of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Avantara Watertown by ensuring residents receive the medication and care they need as directed by their individual care plan, conducting resident assessments, being a team leader, and advocating for your residents. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

This is a full time night shift RN position for Seton 1 Cardiac Telemetry at Lourdes Hospital Cardiac Telemetry is a 25 bed acute care unit at Guthrie Lourdes in Binghamton, NY. Our patient population includes cardiac diagnoses such as heart failure, irregular cardiac rhythms and heart attacks. The unit is also the primary stroke unit in the hospital. Cardiac Telemetry is a fast-paced unit with a multitude of diagnoses to experience and gain great skills on! Position Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional, comprehensive nursing care for patients in an acute care environment. Accountable for the delivery of coordinated, safe, compassionate, therapeutic, evidence‐ based quality care to patients and families, based on individual physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, and appropriate care strategies throughout the lifespan. Practices in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act in the state of employment, the American Nurses Association (ANA) Code of Ethics for Nurses, and the ANA scope and standards of practice. Essential functions and specific skills for the job are found in the unit specific onboarding checklist and in standards that are applicable to the specialty.
