RN Director of Nursing Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced RN Director of Nursing to lead our skilled nursing team in providing exceptional care to our residents. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent clinical knowledge, and the ability to create a positive and supportive work environment. As a RN Director of Nursing at Aspire Senior Living Malden, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our facility, including patient care, staff management, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

RN Director of Nursing Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the skilled nursing facility, including patient care, staff management, and compliance with regulatory requirements

  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident

  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care

  • Manage and supervise a team of registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and certified nursing assistants

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge

  • Develop and maintain relationships with families and residents to ensure their needs are met and concerns are addressed

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality of care

  • Identify and correct any deficiencies or concerns in patient care or facility operations

RN Director of Nursing Requirements

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Missouri

Assesses hospice care patients and families to identify the physical, psychosocial, and environmental needs of patients as evidenced by documentation, clinical records, Interdisciplinary Team reports, after hours reports, and on-site evaluations.
