Primary Patient Population
- Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)
- Neurological assessments
- Adaptive ADLs; Patient Safety/Reorientation Methods
- Transfer/Mobility training
- Vital signs, IVs, Foley Catheter insertion/removal, Wound care, etc.
- RNs, LPNs, Patient Care Nursing Assistants (PCNAs), Nurse Interns, Providers, Social Workers/Case Management, Respiratory Therapy, PT/OT, Speech Therapy, Art & Music Therapy, Dieticians
- 19 beds
Required Qualifications
- Enrolled in an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation).
- Completed fundamentals of nursing
- Currently registered in clinical rotations
- Continuous enrollment in a nursing program
- Eligibility to continue in the position is a maximum of 6 months upon graduating from nursing school
- Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtains within 90 days of hire.
