Education Requirements

  • Associates Degree in Nursing required; Nursing Diploma or by endorsement

We do nearly 250 deliveries each year and through our partnership with Salud clinic, we have 4 providers that call St. Elizabeth their preferred delivering hospital. Additionally, the unit includes a newborn nursery. Here, pregnant, laboring and postpartum patients, as well as healthy newborns, receive comprehensive care. RNs on this unit are able to undergo cross-training in labor and delivery, including operating room procedures, postpartum care and nursery care.
