Job Summary:

Vital signs and medication reconciliation.

Work closely with RNs, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive patient care. Communicate patient needs, changes, and any concerns to the healthcare team.

Maintain and prepare medical equipment and supplies necessary for labor and delivery procedures, ensuring a sterile and safe environment for each patient.

Perform individualized patient assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.

Precert procedure(s)/test(s) when required.

Demonstrate and encourage team behavior and exceptional patient/guest experiences.

Uphold and promote patient safety and quality.
Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing required. Licensed by the Alabama State Board of Nursing required.
Experience:
One year experience in a healthcare field.
Additional Skills / Abilities:
Possess excellent interpersonal skills sufficient to interact with guest. Proficient oral and written communication skills. Basic computer skills required. BLS and NRP certification within one year of hire date.
