Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active LPN license in the state of Pennsylvania
  • Experience working with pediatric populations is strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with school health protocols, medication administration, and emergency response
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with students, parents, educators, and medical professionals
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all situations
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate documentation and follow-through

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care, including administering medications, first aid, and managing chronic health conditions during school hours
  • Monitor student health and respond to medical emergencies with appropriate interventions
  • Keep thorough and accurate health records in compliance with state and district policies
  • Assist in the development and implementation of individualized healthcare plans for students with ongoing medical needs
  • Deliver health education and promote positive wellness behaviors among students and staff
  • Collaborate with school administration to ensure a safe and healthy learning environment
