Job Overview

The LVN provides direct patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Physician. The LVN tasks include vital signs, phlebotomy, gathering data, and medication administration. The LVN verifies medication for Medical Assistants within the LVN's scope of practice.

Minimum Requirements

Graduation from an accredited LVN school with a current LVN license issued by the State of California, Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians.
Preferred 1 year of providing patient care outpatient/inpatient, Skilled Nursing, Home Health, or clinic setting.
IV certified preferred.
Preferred wound care experience.
Experience and knowledge regarding the physical, mental, and social needs of the patients.
Bilingual English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese, depending on location preferred.
A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines.

Job Description The Medical Coordinator (LVN) is responsible for delivering high quality medical care and influencing positive outcomes for patients experiencing homelessness in the recuperative care setting. We have many schedules available for this role, including weekends and nights. The pay range for this position is $34.00 - 36.00 per hour, depending on experience . This position also qualifies for $1.50 swing shift differential and $3.00 graveyard shift differential . The schedule for this position is 11:00pm to 7:30am, 5 days on, 2 days off.
