In this role, you will provide essential nursing services across residential, outpatient, and housing programs. You will administer medications, perform health and psychiatric assessments, support providers with clinical tasks, and ensure accurate documentation of all care provided. You will also play a key role in maintaining medication safety, client health monitoring, and effective communication between clients and the care team.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to clients in behavioral health and substance use treatment settings
• Administer medications safely via oral, injection, and other approved methods while educating clients on proper use
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, including physical, mental health, and psychiatric screenings
• Support providers by preparing clients for visits, obtaining vital signs, and collecting lab specimens such as blood and urine samples
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of medication administration, assessments, and all client interactions
• Monitor medication inventory, complete MAR reviews, conduct medication counts, and coordinate timely refills
• Communicate effectively with clients and care teams to address medication needs and support treatment adherence
• Assist with laboratory and phlebotomy tasks while ensuring all medical records are current and complete
• Promote a safe and healthy environment by supporting infection control, hygiene practices, and overall client wellness
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to improve client outcomes
Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:
• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Missouri
• Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program
Additional Qualifications:
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and current auto insurance
• Successful completion of background checks, including criminal, driving, abuse/neglect, and fingerprint screenings
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain clinical information clearly and respectfully
• Proficiency in electronic health records and accurate data entry
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information securely
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to teamwork, continuous learning, and providing high-quality patient care
Physical Requirements
• Perform sedentary work requiring exertion of up to 10 pounds of force occasionally
• Execute repetitive hand, finger, and arm movements for typing and documentation
• Occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull items, including assisting with patient movement as needed
