Responsibilities of LPN:

Provide patient care in accordance with acceptable standards of nursing practice and the written plan of care, as well as physician’s plan of treatment
Follow a plan of care designed by Nurse Manager
Perform medication administration and treatments per plan of care (POC)
Monitor residents’ conditions and report accordingly
Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with orders provided

Qualifications of LPN:

A current, unencumbered active license to practice as an LPN in the state PA
Ability to work with multiple patients at once
Valid BLS Certification (CPR)

Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program. Minimum of 3 years of experience as an LPN. Phlebotomy experience preferred. Current LPN license and registration with the State Board of Practical Nursing. BCLS certification required within 3 months of hire. Physical Demands: Full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients. Manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
