Advanced Practice Nurse - Cardiology

The Sioux Falls VA Health Care System in Sioux Falls, SD is recruiting for (1) full-time Advanced Practice Nurse - Cardiology within Specialty Care. The APN will be responsible for consultative services and developing treatment plans for the management of Veterans in outpatient, inpatient, Community Living Center and emergency department settings.

Extensive mentoring program Summary As an Advanced Practice Provider with the General Surgery team, your practice includes, but is not limited to: Comprehensive health care assessment, diagnosis, initiation of appropriate care and treatment Continuous outcome monitoring of the general surgery patient population. Follow established protocols and collaborate with physicians Work independently in health care decisions. Establish a philosophy of patient and family-centered care in all patient care practices Primary focus of this role will be inpatient care with limited OR expectations Schedule Work 7 days on and 7 days off (7am-5pm on the days worked) Rotating Holidays Compensated as a 1.0 Pay and Benefits Salary range: $118,913.60 - $153,795.20 per year Pay may be determined by factors such as education, experience, skills, knowledge, location, and internal equity Salary and salary range are based on a 1.0 FTE, reduced FTE will result in a prorated offer rate May be eligible for additional pay through bonuses, quality incentives, or production-based compensation.
