Ability to observe, assess, and interpret patient age specific data, reaction, treatments, progress, and outcomes. Knowledge of emergency medical procedures Ability to communicate effectively with other professionals and the general public. Department Information: The Anesthesiology Department includes 9 CRNAs and 2 MDs providing services in both the hospital and Ambulatory Surgery Center. The team manages a broad range of cases, including peds, OB, ENT, general, robotic, ortho, GYN, urology, podiatry, endoscopy, epidurals, and pain blocks. Using a combination of medical direction and CRNA-only models, CRNAs average approximately 10 cases per day at the surgery center and 4 per day in the hospital. The department utilizes the Epic EMR system to support clinical documentation and care coordination. Summary In this role, you will provide hands-on care for high-risk and preterm infants, including attending deliveries and managing delivery room care for infants born at less than 35 weeks gestation. You’ll be responsible for NICU admissions, performing detailed histories and physicals, and managing the ongoing care of current NICU patients. The position includes participation in both ground and air neonatal transport and active involvement in multidisciplinary care management meetings. You will also provide phone and telehealth consultations to referring community providers, support the pediatric hospitalist service as needed, and ensure accurate hand-off documentation to support safe, seamless transitions of care.
