Willis-Knighton's Physical Medicine Department is looking for a staff LPN to work in our nationally recognized CARF certified inpatient rehabilitation unit. This is a 31-bed unit located in the Willis-Knighton Rehabilitation Institute with a normally 5:1 ratio. The patient population primarily consists of neurological and orthopedic patients with medical surgical needs who require three hours of therapy services per day. LPN staff are responsible for providing the highest level of nursing and medical management using a collaborative multidisciplinary approach. Team members that are hardworking, dependable and compassionate are encouraged to apply for this rewarding position. The candidate chosen for this position will be required to attend a hospital-wide orientation, and a comprehensive orientation with a preceptor is provided according to experience. The Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) works under the guidance of the Center Manager (or Assistant Manager as applicable) for operational guidance and under the management of the Center Physician for medical issues.
