BayCare Health System is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Med/Surg Post Surgical Unit at South Florida Baptist Hospital in Plant City.

Position Summary

The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care in a hospital setting using the nursing process and established clinical standards. The RN collaborates with the interdisciplinary team, delegates appropriate care activities, and ensures safe, high-quality outcomes for observation patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care using evidence-based nursing practice
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to develop and update plans of care
  • Delegate appropriate patient care activities to support staff
  • Identify patient safety risks related to diagnosis, medications, procedures, and age
  • Maintain professional accountability and ongoing development

Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • BLS certification
  • Minimum 6 months RN acute care experience
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
