Positions Options
- Locations: Polk County, Florida
- Specialty: Medical/Surgical, Cardiovascular and Neuroscience
- Full Time hours are 3 - 12 hour shifts per week and every other weekend
- Day Shift - 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM
- Night Shift - 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
- Always in person
- South Florida Baptist (Plant City) - MICU
- Winter Haven Hospital (Winter Haven) - MICU
- Winter Haven Hospital (Winter Haven) - CV ICU
- Bartow Regional Medical Center (Bartow) - MICU

- RN (Registered Nurse) License
- Diploma, Associate’s, Bachelor's or Higher in Nursing
- 1-year experience in the ICU in an Acute Care setting
- BLS certification with the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- ACLS certification with the American Heart Association
- Works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of ICU patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards
- Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team
- Care for patient needs throughout their recovery in critical care
- Monitor, record, and update care team on patient vitals and assessments.
- Identifying sudden or subtle changes in a patient’s medical condition
- Responding to medical emergencies for critical patients
- Coordinates and documents appropriate discharge planning and referrals to ensure continuity of care after discharge
- High emotional intelligence to create a positive patient care experience that includes simplifying medical terminology and concepts to the patient
