Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Manager, Cardiac Services, you will be responsible for all aspects of operational management for Invasive/Non-Invasive Cardiology and Vascular services, providing comprehensive leadership and strategic direction.
Every day you will oversee the provision of resources, coordinate and develop services to meet organizational objectives, develop and implement policies and procedures, administer operational and capital budgets, and collaborate closely with medical staff.
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate exceptional leadership in cardiac and vascular services, a profound understanding of operational and fiscal management, and a proven ability to develop services, implement quality programs, and collaborate effectively with medical staff to achieve organizational objectives.
- Recommends sufficient number of qualified and competent persons to provide care or services, determining qualifications and competence of department personnel.
- Assures orientation and continuing education provided to all department personnel.
- Develops and implements action plan in response to departmental results of climate assessment survey.
- Develops behavioral based interview tools for each department role and uses the tool as part of the interview process.
- Bachelors Other and minimum of 3 years leadership experience, upon hire or
- minimum of 5 years leadership experience in the discipline or
- Masters Other and no experience, upon hire and
- Minimum 5 years experience in Invasive Cardiology with 2 years in Interventional Vascular
- Medical Radiographer: KY, upon hire or
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, upon hire or
- Registered Nurse: KY, upon hire and
- Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire and
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 90 Days
