Pay range for this position is $38.80- $55.78/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure. This is an Hourly position.

Stackable Pay Incentives

$5/hr night shift differential + weekend differential of $3.25/hr.

Overview

POSITION SUMMARY: The Dialysis Registered Professional Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing quality nursing care while contributing to a quality work environment. Dialysis patients may include pediatric and adult populations and different modalities; hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, continuous renal replacement therapy, and therapeutic plasma exchange in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience: 1 year clinical nursing experience

Licensures/Certifications: Registered Nurse in current state.

Current American Heart Association BLS

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience: 1 year clinical dialysis experience or clinical experience with End Stage Renal Disease patient population.

Certified Dialysis Nurse or Certified Nephrology Nurse

Nursing care is provided through assessment, implementation, and evaluation of the plan of care. Registered Nurse (RN) Duties and Responsibilities: Provides licensed care to assigned residents as ordered by physician and in accordance with facility, federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations Ensures assigned work area (i.e. nurse station, medication cart, medication room, etc.), resident care rooms and treatment areas are maintained in a clean and sanitary manner. Takes and records residents blood pressure and vital signs, administers catheter care, administers IV therapy to residents as ordered within license limitations, and provides respiratory care, e.g. oxygen, nebulizer treatments.
