Are you looking for a meaningful CNA/LNA role where your clinical skills are highly respected, your voice is heard, and you finally have control over your own time?
At Seniors Helping Seniors, we believe that aging should be met with dignity, grace, and respect—and we believe the exact same thing applies to our care team.
If you are exhausted by the grueling pace of taxing nursing homes and short-staffed hospitals, we offer a breath of fresh air. We are not a chaotic facility or a traditional, fast-paced staffing agency that treats you like a number. To us, our seniors and our CNAs matter equally. You deserve an environment where you are truly valued, respected, and given the space to do what you do best: provide exceptional, compassionate care.
We specialize in creating genuine, long-term bonds by matching our care team with local seniors based on shared interests, compatible backgrounds, and mutual trust. If you are a licensed CNA who wants to escape facility burnout and transition to rewarding, one-on-one home care, your community needs you.
The Impact You Will Make
Every day can look a little different, but your professional training and presence will always provide safety, comfort, and peace of mind. In this role, you will:
Provide Skilled, Compassionate Care: Assist seniors with activities of daily living (ADLs), including safe transferring, ambulation, bathing, dressing, and personal grooming, while always maintaining their dignity.
Offer Specialized Peace of Mind: Utilize your training to provide vital respite care and specialized support for families navigating advanced aging needs, including Alzheimer’s/dementia, Parkinson's, cancer, or post-surgery recovery.
Support Daily Independence: Lend a hand with mild to moderate tasks that keep a household running smoothly, such as light house cleaning and meal preparation.
Bring Joy and Connection: Move beyond clinical tasks—share stories, enjoy hobbies, and keep seniors socially engaged and active.
Provide Safe Passage: Drive seniors to local errands, grocery shopping, or medical appointments when needed.
What We Are Looking For (Safety & Trust)
Because the individuals we serve rely heavily on us, we look for dedicated professionals who understand the profound value of consistency and high-quality care. To join our team, you must bring:
Active Credentials: A valid, unencumbered state Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
Physical Agility & Awareness: The ability to safely assist with transfers, bending, lifting, and reaching. Above all, you must maintain excellent situational awareness and quick reflexes to ensure environmental safety and provide steady, safe guidance during a crisis.
Absolute Reliability: Our seniors truly look forward to your visits, and they genuinely need you there. Consistency is vital to their well-being, so we require mature professionals who are deeply committed to their scheduled shifts. Your reliability is the foundation of their safety.
A Ready Vehicle: A valid US Driver’s License, a reliable personal vehicle, and current auto insurance to get you safely to and from your appointments at the seniors' homes.
Background & Checks: The ability to pass a thorough criminal background check, drug screening (if applicable by state), and personality evaluation.
Why You’ll Love Being on Our Team
Escape Facility Burnout: Say goodbye to understaffed floor shifts, heavy patient loads, and the physical and emotional toll of hospitals and nursing homes. Here, you can breathe, slow down, and focus on the quality of your care.
True One-on-One Client Focus: No more rushing from room to room. You get to focus entirely on one patient at a time, allowing you to actually use your skills to make a measurable difference in someone's quality of life.
Make Your Own Schedule: You are in complete control of your availability. Because we are a 24/7 care provider, we work with you to build your regular schedule around your specific lifestyle. This makes it a fantastic perk for those balancing nursing school, other jobs, or family commitments.
Valued and Respected: We know how hard CNAs work, and we make sure you feel appreciated every single day. Your insights regarding your client matter to us, and you will always have a supportive administrative team backing you up.
Schedules Built for Stability: Many agencies constantly rotate schedules, shuffling CNAs between different houses and leaving them with unpredictable hours. Our goal is entirely different: we work with you to progressively build a consistent, stable schedule with the same regular seniors. Please note: because we thoughtfully match based on compatibility, building your ideal schedule takes a little time. Hours are built up progressively as we find the perfect matches for you, rather than offering full-time hours immediately on day one.
Thoughtful Matching: We don't just assign random shifts. We spend time getting to know your unique background and hobbies to pair you with a compatible senior, allowing you to build a genuine, rewarding bond over time.
Room to Grow: We believe in supporting your professional development. For those interested in career enhancement, we love recognizing dedication and offer clear opportunities for advancement and leadership roles within our organization.
How to Join Us
We value your time and have designed a thoughtful, straightforward onboarding process:
Initial Connection: A quick 10-minute phone call to learn about your location, credentials, and availability.
The Interview: A deeper conversation about your caregiving experience and matching preferences (conducted via Zoom or in-person).
The Bond: Completing your background screening, credential verification, and pairing you with a senior who shares your vibe.
