CentralCare Incorporated is seeking Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) to provide high-quality outpatient care at Los Angeles Air Force Base. This role supports military healthcare operations by delivering patient-centered care in a clinical setting.

Location: Los Angeles Air Force Base – California
Schedule: Monday - Friday / 7:00am - 4:00pm

Compensation: $39.93/hour ($35/hour base + $4.93 Health & Welfare Rate)

Licensed Vocational Nurse LVN Minimum Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited vocational nursing program
Program must be approved by a State agency and accredited (e.g., CNEA or equivalent)

Active, unrestricted LVN/LPN license

Minimum of 24 months of hands-on outpatient clinical experience within the past 36 months

Licensed Vocational Nurse LVN Responsibilities:

Deliver direct patient care to diverse populations
Assess patient conditions and prioritize care appropriately
Observe, document, and report patient status and changes
Educate patients and families on treatment and preventive care

Administer medications (oral, topical, IM, SQ, IV as permitted)
Administer vaccinations, including pediatric immunizations
Assist with diagnostic tests, exams, and procedures
Perform portions of physical exams and collect patient data
Provide emergency response and basic life support when needed

Maintain accurate patient records (electronic and paper)
Document treatments, procedures, and patient outcomes
Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers
Conduct medical record reviews and follow clinical protocols

Prepare and position patients for procedures
Maintain clinical equipment and ensure proper sterilization
Follow infection control protocols and safety standards
Support central sterile supply functions

Collaborate with physicians, RNs, and care teams
Orient new staff and maintain professional relationships
Participate in training, continuing education, and quality initiatives
Submit required reports and support administrative processes

Monitor and record vital signs and physiological measurements
Ensure patient privacy, dignity, and comfort
Promote a safe and compliant healthcare environment
Apply clinical judgment within scope of practice
