Work Schedule: Full-Time / Part-Time / PRN

Pay Rate: $40.00 - $45.00 / Hour depending on experience

JOB SUMMARY:

In this vital role, you’ll provide high-quality clinical care, support residents in their recovery and daily wellness, and collaborate with a interdisciplinary team to ensure each resident receives personalized, dignified care. This position reports to the Director of Nursing.

 

JOB DUTIES:

  • Ensures proper resident care is maintained in a clean and safe environment.

  • Develop and ensure the nursing care plan and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants

  • Makes nursing diagnoses, which serve as the basis for the strategy of care

  • Collaborates with the resident, and members of the healthcare team

  • Records the administration of medication

  • Monitor assigned staff to ensure established safety regulations are followed and that all tasks are performed following all state and government regulations and safety procedures as outlined by the facility

  • Follows procedures related to the use of nursing equipment and supplies

  • Performs other duties as directed

 

REQUIREMENTS / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:  

  • An Associates Degree

  • An active RN license

  • 2+ years' experience as an RN in a nursing community preferred

  • The desire to care for residents and act with integrity

  • The ability to work flexible hours

Required Qualifications Current unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Tennessee Must have, as a minimum, three (3) years of experience as a supervisor in a hospital, nursing home, or other related health care facility.
