Overview

The Nurse Practitioner Supervisor will be responsible for the oversight of the MosAIC Nursing team to include, day-to day staff management, patient care, maintaining accurate and current patient records and scheduling and administering follow-up appointments to patients as required. The Supervisor will work as a member of the Nursing Team to coordinate services with our nurses and physicians and will assist in delivering premium care to each and every patient.

Responsibilities

  • Perform initial patient screenings and patient history and physical examinations
  • Provide infusions and injections to MosAIC patients and Amerita patients if needed
  • Provide complete assessments of patients receiving infusions, and initiate emergency protocols should significant adverse reactions occur
  • Deliver quality care while maintaining productivity metrics
  • Update patient records and check records for accuracy at each patient appointment
  • Analyze test data and determine the need for follow-up appointments and further treatment options
  • Serve as the resource patients need for ongoing care information and counseling, and provide guidance for any patients with critical conditions
  • Complete documentation in Company EHR system
  • Under the supervision of General Manager, may complete daily management responsibilities, such as:
    • Time off requests and timecard approvals in the Time Keeping system
    • Participate in the annual performance review process
    • Provide feedback for staff performance improvement and disciplinary action

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Nursing, required
  • 5+ years’ nursing experience, preferred
  • 3-5 years’ supervisory experience, preferred
  • Valid nurse practitioner license in the state of employment, required
  • Must utilize strong written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Work collaboratively with physician to deliver optimum care to patients
  • Work within a team and take direction
