School Nurse (Licensed Practical Nurse) in Loganville, GA

Daily responsibilities will include delivering direct nursing support to your assigned students, monitoring their health needs, and implementing physician-directed care plans. You will accompany the students on the school bus to and from the campus each day, ensuring continuity of care during transportation. In this hands-on role, your clinical expertise will be invaluable in responding to medical situations, and your keen attention to detail will help you maintain accurate service documentation. Your communication skills will foster effective collaboration with classroom staff, parents, and district personnel.

Preferred qualifications for this opportunity:

  • Active Georgia LPN license
  • Background in pediatric, school-based, or special education healthcare
  • Experience supporting medically fragile children
  • Strong documentation abilities and communication skills
  • Proven teamwork within multidisciplinary settings
  • Familiarity with student IEPs and school-based health services is a plus
  • School nursing experience and support of students with specialized medical needs, highly valued
