Overview

JOB SPECIFICS

  • Join an established Primary Care practices.  Position is split between Galesburg IL and Knoxville IL.
  • Perform patient assessment and assign diagnosis based on recorded assessment data and current scientific and current research.
  • Establish plan of care and implement interventions in accordance with care paths, protocols, standards of care and current research.
  • Provide education and counseling to patients, families and groups.
  • Clinic hours are Monday – Friday 8am-5pm
  • Excellent work/life balance with no call or weekends.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s degree or higher in nursing or physician assistant studies from an accredited program
  • Current Illinois license as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant
  • Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
  • Minimum of two years of experience as an APP in primary care or a related field is preferred
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
  • Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems

Overview Position Overview OSF HealthCare is seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our established Electrophysiology (EP) Cardiology team consisting of 4 APPs and 4 physicians. This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with leading electrophysiologists in a high-volume, innovative cardiovascular program. The APP will play a key role in delivering comprehensive care to patients with complex cardiac rhythm disorders in both outpatient clinic and inpatient settings.
