CHHA Caregiver Needed Somerset, NJ

At Home Watch Caregivers of Bridgewater, we are seeking a strong, reliable caregiver (male or female) to assist a client returning home in July. As a certified Home Health Aide, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our client, who is wheelchair-bound and may have dementia or cognitive impairment.

About the Role:

Assist with mobility, transfers, personal care, and daily living activities
Provide companionship and emotional support to our client
Travel with the client for appointments, errands, and community outings
Work collaboratively with our experienced caregiving team to ensure the client's needs are met
Maintain accurate records of care and services provided

Requirements:

Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification required
Be physically capable of assisting with transfers and mobility support
Valid driver's license required
Comfortable driving the client's vehicle for appointments, errands, and community outings
Dependable, compassionate, and patient
Ability to work with clients who may experience memory loss or confusion

Ideal Candidate:

Caring, attentive, and confident assisting a client with mobility limitations
Experience with dementia care is a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to learn and adapt to new situations
