- Incorporate organizational and professional standards to improve safety, quality, and patient satisfaction.
- Build compassionate, therapeutic relationships with patients and families.

- Participate in unit‑specific quality improvement initiatives.
- Identify improvement opportunities and communicate them to colleagues and leadership.
- Support patient satisfaction through high‑quality care and service.
- Use research and evidence‑based practice to guide clinical decisions and influence care plans
- Demonstrates the knowledge and skills needed to provide age‑appropriate care across the lifespan.
- Assesses patient data and identifies age‑specific needs in alignment with department policies.
- Applies principles of growth and development to ensure safe, individualized care.
- RN experience preferred.
- Ability to build positive, collaborative relationships with leaders, providers, staff, patients, and families.
- Effective in fast‑paced, complex environments with shifting priorities and specialized equipment.
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to lead and support others in applying the nursing process.
- Physical capability for frequent walking, standing, lifting, and patient positioning; requires mobility and visual/manual dexterity.
