Respond promptly and courteously to call lights and resident needs. Assist with admissions, re-admissions, and room transfers. Staff Supervision & Leadership Supervise Geriatric Nursing Assistants (GNAs), Certified Medication Aides (CMAs), nurses, and assigned staff. Monitor staff performance to ensure assignments are completed appropriately. Participate in employee performance evaluations in collaboration with Nurse Manager/ADON. Assist with staffing needs, scheduling recommendations, and workforce planning. Address and report employee concerns, performance issues, and disciplinary matters. Provide coaching, verbal counseling, and written warnings as appropriate. Foster a respectful, professional, and collaborative work environment. Communication & Coordination Give and receive detailed shift reports. Communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, and interdisciplinary team members. Report unit concerns, incidents, and operational issues to nursing leadership. Participate in meetings, in-services, and training as required.
