CNA Position Summary

Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) provide hands-on care and emotional support to residents, assist nursing staff, and maintain a safe, comfortable environment. This role is essential to the delivery of high-quality, compassionate care.

CNA Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with personal hygiene, grooming, and daily living activities

  • Provide hands-on care and emotional support to residents

  • Distribute meals and assist with feeding, tracking nutritional intake

  • Observe and report changes in residents’ conditions to the nursing team

  • Escort residents safely throughout the facility as needed

  • Help maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe living environment

  • Support nursing staff in providing high-quality, resident-centered care

CNA Qualifications

  • Completion of a state-approved CNA training program

  • Active CNA certification in good standing with New York State

  • Team-oriented with strong work ethic and positive attitude

  • Must meet Department of Health regulatory standards

  • Compassionate and resident-focused
