Position SummaryCentral Maine Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our established outpatient primary care team. Responsibilities

  • Provide full-scope primary care across the lifespan
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions
  • Perform preventive care and health screenings
  • Develop individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
  • Educate patients on wellness and disease management
  • Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
  • Board Certified (FNP or ANP)
  • Active or eligible for Maine NP licensure
  • DEA certification (or eligible)
  • Strong clinical judgment and patient-centered communication skills

Description The Maine Health Adult Specialty Care Clinic is seeking a part-time (24 hours per week) Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate/Physician Assistant to join its outstanding care team in Portland, Maine. Duties will include patient triage, patient education, and clinical assessment and treatment.
