We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our outpatient services team.

Position Summary:

The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will provide direct patient care to adult individuals in an outpatient setting. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team-including psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, and primary care providers-to ensure comprehensive, coordinated treatment plans for patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and follow-up appointments for outpatient clients
  • Provide telepsychiatry services using secure, HIPAA-compliant platforms
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with behavioral health team members and refer patients to appropriate internal or external resources as needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
  • Participate in case conferences, supervision, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Educate patients and families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and medication adherence

Qualifications:

  • Licensed (or eligible for licensure) as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in NJ
  • Certified in specialty
  • DEA license with the ability to prescribe psychiatric medications
  • Experience in outpatient psychiatry preferred (new grads with strong training and interest in outpatient care may be considered)
  • Comfortable with telehealth platforms and remote patient care
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Passion for providing equitable, culturally competent mental health care
