Pay Ranges depend on Job Title, years of experience and eligibility for our compensation programs such as Pay-In-Lieu of Benefits (adds 10% to your base pay where applicable) and Shift Differentials.

RT: $30.60 - $42.14 / Hour

Responsibilities

RN - Registered Nurse:

  • RN Team Leaders assist in ensuring the general health and well-being of our residents by providing direct nursing care. Direct nursing care of residents encompasses planning, developing, organizing, implementing assessing, and evaluating the care of residents to ensure that the highest degree of quality care and regulatory compliance is maintained at all times.

LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse:

  • Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) are indispensable members of our interdisciplinary team and are charged with managing the daily clinical regimen of each resident and sub-acute patient. Our LPNs enjoy a unique opportunity to gain extensive clinical experience and provide advanced care in a home-like setting.

CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant

  • Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) provide personal and nursing care to meet the physical and emotional needs of residents in Elderwood skilled nursing facilities (SNF). They are under the direction of a licensed nurse. State specific certification is required.

PT - Physical Therapist:

  • Physical Therapy team members assist with ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by providing comprehensive and quality therapy services. This position is responsible for administering skilled physical therapy treatments ensuring that the highest degree of quality resident care is maintained at all times.

SLP - Speech-Language Therapist:

  • Speech-Language Therapy team members assist with ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by making recommendations for a speech-language therapy treatment plan, if necessary, and carrying out treatments as planned; conducting an audiometric screening of residents upon request and making recommendations for further audiology service.

(CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant):

  • Seventeen (17) years of age required; high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Employment Certificate/Permit required for 17 years of age.
  • Registration in the State Nurse Aide Registry (CNA) is required. Active on the State Nursing Aide Registry with no findings or convictions of resident abuse, mistreatment or misappropriation of property.
  • Training and work experience in a geriatric setting preferred.
  • Ability to supervise and work well with other personnel
  • Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing
  • Caring and respectful attitude towards residents
  • Physical stamina for constant activity required.
  • Ability to perform tasks to established standards of excellence required.

CNA Training Track (Support Aide) Overview: Elderwood's CNA Training course will last for three weeks, Monday to Friday from 7:30a-3:30p (times may vary slightly). Until you are officially slotted for training, you will be designated on a specific shift as a Trainee. Once in the course - the first two weeks are classroom training; third week will be the clinical portion. Once you pass, your status (and pay) will be adjusted from Support Aide to CNA. Elderwood will pay for the CNA certification test as well as any applicable onboarding requirements, including but not limited to PPD and Physical for eligible candidates. Training is PAID - you will be clocked in during training hours and get paid while you train. Responsibilities (CNA Training Track - Support Aide): Transport residents or accompanies ambulatory residents as assigned to various locations in the building including the dining room, activity program areas, therapy or treatment areas. Make unoccupied resident beds, as assigned. Assist in the Dining Room with food service to residents, under the direction of licensed therapy staff; duties include passing trays, cutting meat, opening cartons or other containers. Distribute supplemental nourishments to residents who do not need to be fed, as directed. Conduct informal activities on the nursing unit when time permits, as directed.
