Summary:

Proficient in the care of a sub-specialty group of patients utilizing effective managerial skills. Acts as a professional role model for other members of the nursing team. Responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization. Acts as a mentor and resource expert, supports and shares organizational information to all team members. Performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse. Promotes evidence-based clinical care that exemplifies the pursuit of clinical excellence.
