Summary of Position:

Working in conjunction with the scheduling coordinator and all patient services staff under the direction of the RN Office Manager, the RN Supervising Field Nurse will:

  • Ensure quality and safe delivery of home health care services

  • Implement current nursing practices as defined by New York State Registered Nurse licensure

  • Promote effective written and verbal communication with colleagues, clients and health care professionals

  • Promote education for home health aides, clients and families

  • Supervise and train home care workers

Qualifications:

  • Candidate would ideally have experience in a clinical environment, preferably in a community setting

  • Can work independently

  • Maintain strong organizational and communication skills

Requirements:

  • Registered Professional Nurse with a current license to practice nursing from New York State Department of Education.

  • At least 1 year of full-time experience as a Registered Nurse in a hospital or residential health care facility is required.

  • Home care experience and exhibited instructional abilities desired.

  • Valid New York State drivers license

Travel will be required for this position.

Salary: $88,000.00 per year
