Summary

CentraCare’s Emergency Department is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to deliver high-quality, direct patient care in our Western Region Emergency Departments in Long Prairie, Melrose, Paynesville and Sauk Centre. This role involves evaluating and treating patients of all ages in an acute care setting, utilizing advanced assessment skills while practicing within established protocols and regulatory standards.

 

APPs enjoy meaningful day-to-day clinical independence while collaborating closely with emergency physicians as part of a supportive, team-based environment. This is an excellent opportunity to practice at the top of your license and make a real impact in community-focused emergency departments.

 

Schedule

  • Casual Position | Onsite at CentraCare Hospitals in Long Prairie, Melrose, Paynesville and Sauk Centre

  • Varying shifts, days/hours, and locations 

  • This position will have shifts scheduled into the weekend and holiday rotations 

 

Pay and Benefits

  • Hourly Pay Range:  $67.89 - $108.20 per hour; 

    • Pay may be determined by factors such as education, experience, skills, knowledge, location, and internal equity

    • May be eligible for additional pay through bonuses, quality incentives, or production-based compensation.

 

Qualifications

Required:

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program

  • Eligibility for Minnesota licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Preferred: 

  • Previous experience as a provider in Emergency Department, Urgent Care, Family Medicine and Walk-in Clinic

Advanced Practice Provider - Emergency General Surgery

The Department of Surgery at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston seeks a qualified Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join the Emergency General Surgery (EGS) service. The APP will function as an integral member of a multidisciplinary surgical team providing high-acuity inpatient, consultative, and ambulatory care within a tertiary academic medical center. This position includes evaluation and management of emergency general surgery patients, perioperative care, procedural support, coordination of care across services, and participation in a weekly outpatient clinic focused primarily on postoperative visits and selected new patient evaluations. Administrative & Quality Responsibilities Contribute to efforts to standardize care pathways for common EGS diagnoses across inpatient and outpatient settings. Assist with OR coordination and patient throughput initiatives as needed.
