RN MDS Coordinator.

This Position is responsible for the overall quality, timeliness, appropriateness and completion of resident assessment and care planning in accordance with current Federal, State, and local standards and regulations.


Qualifications:

1. Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of FL

2. Experienced in Long Term Care and Nursing Management

3. Experience with MDS 3.0 scheduling and completion

4. Posses strong communication skills clinical knowledge and skill

5. Experience with CMI case mix and quality measure reporting

6. Demonstrates leadership ability

7. Team player, able to delegate and oversee subordinates and flexible to changing work conditions and situations.

8. Must be computer literate, experience with PCC preferred.

 

Functions:

1. Oversees MDS completion by all clinical disciplines

2. Completes MDS as warranted

3. Participates in MDS education for all clinical disciplines

4. Schedules and oversees Care planning meetings as needed

5. Meets with families for Care Planning and as warranted by clinical situations or family request.
