Nurse RN/LPN Detox & Residential Treatment (Night Shift)

We are searching for an LPN/RN to join our team of healthcare professionals. The LPN/RN is responsible for the delivery of medical services, under the supervision of the Director of Nursing. The LPN/RN is responsible for all nursing related services for each patient/client. The LPN/RN is responsible for providing medical & history screens, providing individualized nursing care and overseeing the medical and psychiatric management of the patient/client in coordination with the Medical Director. The work requires monitoring clients for signs and symptoms of intoxication and withdrawal. The work also requires maintaining all necessary documentation. The position is responsible for providing directions to the technicians on assigned shift. Must be available to work weekends and have shift flexibility.

Skills/Requirements:

  • Florida LPN/RN license required.
  • Experience: Substance Abuse preferred.
  • Minimum of one year experience in an addiction treatment facility setting
  • Must be team-oriented and have strong nursing as well as administrative skills
  • Ability to work on several assignments at once, good communication skills and strong medical background.
  • Provides individual medication education on topics, issues, and concerns relating to nursing discipline.
  • Collects information and completes documentation for each patient/client in accordance with licensure and current policies.

Experience:

  • Residential Experience: 1 years (Preferred)
  • Licensed Practical Nurse: 1 years (Preferred)
  • Healthcare: 1 year (Preferred)
  • KIPU EMR System
  • COW and CIWA Assessment

Education:

  • Associate (Preferred)

License:

  • LPN or RN License

Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Department. Maintains quality clinical care for residents/patients in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the Facility.
