Job Description:

ENT and Allergy Associates (ENTA), one of the nation’s largest ENT, Allergy, and Audiology medical practices, is seeking an Allergy Nurse for our Staten Island office.

The Allergy Nurse role offers an opportunity to work with patients of all ages, encompassing a wide spectrum of care within our vibrant patient community. We offer a supportive work environment aimed at promoting professional growth and teamwork amongst health care providers.

Hourly:

LPN – $33.09/hr
RN – $40/hr
BSN – $42.68/hr

Responsibilities:

Administer allergy injections and monitor patients
Perform allergy testing (food, environmental, venom, drug and chemical testing)
Conduct pulmonary function testing
Assist physician with patient care
Complete administrative responsibilities including insurance approvals, data entry, restocking clinical supplies
Respond to patient calls and messages

Requirements include:

Ability to prioritize and multitask
Ability to work well in a team
Excellent customer service skills
Attention to detail
Competent working with computers

Education / Certification Requirements:

Active RN or LPN License (New grads welcome to apply)
BLS/CPR certification

Schedule:

Monday: 9:00am-6:30pm
Wednesday: 9:00am-5:00pm
Thursday: 9:00am-6:30pm
Saturday (when physician has hours): 8:00am - 12:00pm

Position Summary: Assist physician with duties necessary to support the needs of the practice working within and to the maximum scope of license Education, License & Cert: LPN ‐ license based on corresponding position location Experience: One‐year experience in healthcare field preferred but not required Essential Functions: 1. Directs patient to exam room and prepares patient for exam or treatment by identifying height, weight, respirations, blood pressure, temperature, additional testing, and records same on chart.
