As a Full Time Registered Nurse, you'll provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in Latrobe, PA. The scheduled hours are Monday - Friday, 2nd Shift, 2:00p - 10:00p.

New RN graduates are encouraged to apply and will be considered.

What You’ll Do

  • Assesses patient care needs, conducts nursing evaluations, and provides treatment within scope of practice
  • Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare practitioners for further medical evaluation and care as needed
  • Performs and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision)
  • Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice
  • Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
  • Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
  • Educates patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up care
  • Performs other duties as assigned

 

What You’ll Bring 

  • Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or associate degree (A.S.) is required; Bachelor's degree (BSN) from four-year college or university is preferred 
  • Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required
  • Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
  • Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN/COHN-S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sites
  • At least three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency room, occupational health clinic or other ambulatory care clinic

Possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Requires proof of an active auto insurance policy. Required Skills and Abilities: Ability to conduct in-home setting visits and have previous experience on a telehealth platform Demonstrated role proficiency with Microsoft Office; Excel, Word, G-suite, etc. Proficient with Microsoft 365 software suite, Electronic Health Records, Scheduling Software, and Ring Central applications Role model in courageous teamwork, integrity, ethics, and productivity Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, families, and remote healthcare professionals. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions while adhering to established protocols and guidelines. Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle administrative tasks and facilitate telehealth consultations. Experience working with culturally diverse and underserved populations. Supervisory Responsibility : This position will not have supervisory responsibility. Travel requireme nts: Travel is required up to 100% locally to deliver patient care. Work Conditions: Ability to lift up to 20lbs. Moving lifting or transferring of patients may involve lifting of up to 50lbs as well as assist with weights of more than 100lbs. Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to drive to patient locations (ie. home, hospital, SNF, etc) or community resource locations. Fine motor skills, and Visual acuity.
