The House Supervisor under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer is responsible for administrative and clinical supervision of nursing staff. Has administrative responsibility for nursing and non-nursing staff assigned to evenings and weekends, as assigned by the Nurse Executive and Administration.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Supervises, coordinates, and evaluates activities of nursing personnel to provide quality nursing care
- Responds to others on the unit in a helpful manner, especially in times of increased patient activity or short staffing situations
- Assists staff to integrate new procedures into their nursing practice
- Identify learning needs of staff and communicate those to Nurse Managers

Qualifications
- Current KY RN license in good standing
- Experience in a psych nursing setting preferred
- Supervisory experience preferred
- BSN degree preferred
- Current CPR
Must be available to attend the full hospital and departmental orientations
Week 1: M-F 9AM – 5PM
Week 2: M & Tu 9 AM – 3 PM
Week 3: M,Tu, & W 9 AM – 3 PM
