Countryside Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing is a 61-bed facility, set in the heart of beautiful, rural Carlisle County. We are looking for a dedicated, compassionate CNA to help us care for our residents. If you feel like this describes you, get in touch with us so we can talk. Our DON or administrator will be glad to set up a convenient time for you to come for an interview and tour our building. We have updated our wage scale, and for a limited time, we are offering a fuel benefit for new hires outside of Carlisle County.

CNA Responsibilities: 

  • Attend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
  • Responsible for taking and recording patient vital signs lifting, moving, and transporting residents, using proper body mechanics.
  • Recognizing and reporting changes in resident conditions to nurse management. Asking appropriate questions to clarify situations.
  • Communicate and interact effectively and tactfully with the residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.
  • Reporting abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff.
  • Demonstrating the ability to assist the nurse with various duties as directed.

CNA Requirements:

  • At least one year of experience as a CNA in a Long Term Care setting is highly preferred.
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited Certified Nursing Aide Assistant program.
  • Current state certification as a CNA
