Responsibilities

TMC Bonham Hospital is a 25-bed critical access hospital that includes both primary care and specialty physicians. The Critical Access Hospital, offering both inpatient and outpatient services along with 24-hour emergency services. The Critical Access Hospital (CAH) Program was established to assure access to healthcare services for rural residents. The program provides rural acute care hospitals with a range of opportunities for service enhancement and quality of care improvement. Quality healthcare and patient safety is our goal. Qualifications

The Clinical Supervisor will assume shift responsibility and accountability for the planning and provision of direct and indirect nursing care to the patient, family, care partner and appropriate others. Coordinate multi-disciplinary team members, direct and facilitate nursing staff in obtaining safe, optimal healthcare outcomes. Support activities that meet the facility vision, mission and goals. Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. Oversee and guide employees that are under his/her supervision.

Registered Nurse (RN) Job Requirements:

Current RN licensure in the State of Texas, or compact required, BSN preferred.
Two years experience in acute care MS nursing.
One year charge nurse or supervisory experience preferred.
Must maintain all clinical competencies for area of supervision.
RQI BLS and ACLS with new hire orientation.
Must maintain all additional certifications required by area of supervision.
Clinical certification in area of supervision preferred (i.e. MSCRN etc.)
Must be clinically competent in area of population served.
Must demonstrate knowledge and ability to work effectively with all levels of personnel.
Must possess excellent communication skills and demonstrate team leadership.
Must have the ability to problem solve and think critically.
Must possess basic computer application skills.

Responsibilities This position provides the opportunity to work at both of our world class facilities in the Med/Surg/Tele units. This position qualifies for increased compensation. Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs Hospital in Murrieta, California , is a 120 bed acute-care hospital with the region's only Pediatric Emergency Services team (for children 14 and under) provided by board certified Rady Children’s emergency medicine physicians. Rancho Springs Hospital also provides the area's only OB/Emergency Department program, which gives expectant mothers 24/7 on-site access to OB/GYN physician coverage. The Childbirth Center at Rancho Springs Hospital is the largest in the region and features spacious family-friendly private suites. Rancho's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is operated by Rady Children’s. Southwest Healthcare Inland Valley Hospital in Wildomar, California , is a licensed 122-bed facility accredited by the Joint Commission. It is Southwest Riverside County's only designated Trauma Center and a county-designated Paramedic Base Station. The hospital performs more than 4,000 surgeries a year, and has an average of 4,000 Emergency Department visits per month. The hospital features a Bariatric Weight-Loss Surgery Center of Excellence and the region’s only Total Joint Center. Staff Registered Nurses are responsible for providing excellence in patient care, collaborative and comprehensive care based on patient and/or family needs, providing assessments, treatment and care on assigned units. Will provide care for patients throughout the continuum of care, including management of pain, invasive lines and surgical drains.
