Throgs Neck Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking an experienced and dedicated Weekend Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to join our leadership team. This part-time opportunity is ideal for a skilled nursing professional who is passionate about providing exceptional resident care while supporting and mentoring nursing staff. Position Responsibilities:

Partner with the Director of Nursing (DON) and Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support daily nursing operations.
Supervise, guide, and support nursing staff to ensure quality care and compliance with facility policies, procedures, and regulations.
Conduct routine rounds to monitor resident care, staff performance, and overall facility standards.
Assist with regulatory surveys, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
Address clinical concerns and collaborate with the team to maintain a safe and effective care environment.
Promote teamwork, accountability, and excellence throughout the nursing department.

Qualifications:

Current and active RN License in the State of New York.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in long-term care or rehabilitation nursing.
Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
Strong clinical judgment, leadership abilities, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
