Overview NaphCare is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team at the Washoe County Jail in Reno, Nevada. This part-time onsite (10 hours per week) opportunity is ideal for a provider who is passionate about behavioral healthcare and wants to make a lasting impact in a unique clinical setting. Working within a collaborative correctional healthcare environment, you'll provide comprehensive psychiatric care, support patients participating in our Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) program , and partner with an experienced multidisciplinary team to improve outcomes for individuals with complex behavioral health and medical needs. Responsibilities As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner , you'll provide comprehensive behavioral healthcare while supporting patients with mental health and substance use disorders. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management. Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with behavioral health and substance use disorders. Support the facility's Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) program by evaluating patients and developing individualized treatment plans.
