Description
Position Overview: As a Nurse Manager (RN), you will provide clinical leadership and oversee the daily nursing operations within your assigned unit to ensure the highest quality of resident care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising and supporting nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs
- Overseeing resident care plans and ensuring quality clinical outcomes
- Administering medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policies
- Maintaining accurate and timely resident documentation
- Monitoring compliance with state and federal regulations
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to promote resident well-being
- Building positive working relationships with residents, families, and team members
- Assisting with staff development, coaching, and performance management
Requirements
Nurse Manager (RN) Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Illinois
- Current CPR Certification
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory nursing experience
- Minimum of 3 years of long-term care experience
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Commitment to providing compassionate, resident-centered care
